- Rough sawn kiln dried (RSKD) Blackwood, Myrtle and Tas Oak
timbers are sold in pack lots
- Pack volumes are approximately 1.3 cubic metres
- Individual plank lengths in a Pack vary between 0.6 and 4.5
metres
- Timbers are available in Natural Feature Grade and also in
Select Grade.
- Natural Feature Grade includes a percentage of boards that
contain knots and other natural timber features, giving each
board a distinct appearance and character.
- Select Grade boards are chosen to ensure consistent
appearance, and do not include the timber features that are
present in Natural Feature Grade
- If required Packs can be provided as Dressed All Round (DAR)
- Kiln dried timber has a moisture content between 8% to 10%
